This document is really the last trace of Dr. Hans Kammler, one of the principal designers of the extermination camps in Nazi-occupied Europe. It is dated April 23, 1945. It orders SS Sturmbanführer Grosch in Prague to order another SS officer, Schürmann, in Berlin, to immediately blow up something called a "V-1 device" there and to then report to a command in Munich.

At the time this signal was sent Kammler was billeted at Schloss Linderhof between Fussen and Oberammergau. Dornberger alleges that Kammler drove him and Wernher von Braun plus some others to Oberjock near Schattwald where they surrendered to the US 324th Infantry Batallion on 2 May 1945.
