Transkription der handschriftlichen Notiz auf der Vorderseite des Zettels:

"Vollkommener Ablaß
zur Zeit eines feindlichen Fliegerangriffes

Der Hl. Vater hat allen Gläubigen, deren Wohn-
ort von feindlichen Fliegern angegriffen wird,
einen vollkommenen Ablaß bewilligt, wenn
sie während des Angriffes

1) einen Akt wahrer Gottesliebe und voll-
kommener Reue über ihre Sünden erwecken (
etwa mit den Worten:

Dich liebt o Gott mein ganzes Herz, und dies ist
mir der größte Schmerz, daß ich erzürnt dich
höchstes Gut, ach wasch mich rein in deinem
Blut!)

2) andächtig das Stoßgebet verrichten:
Mein Jesus, Barmherzigkeit!"

Die Rückseite des Zettels enthält ein selbstverfasstes Mariengebet bei Fliegerangriffen in Form eines fünfstrophigen Gedichtes, anknüpfend an das Lied Maria breit den Mantel aus.
